Lima Company Comes Home
Columbus-based Lima Company is finally making its way back home. After leaving for Iraq in January they are expected back in Columbus on Friday. The Marines have been through some of the toughest battles in the Iraq war and have lost 16 members.

I was told about this website from a friend of Brett's. I just wanted to say thank you to the Marines who are in Iraq fighting for our freedom. I'm from Brett's hometown of Sabina, Ohio. I started painting his mural the day following his funeral. from the hundreds of people that have stopped to see his mural, there is one that stands out among the rest. A car stopped by the roadside to view the mural. A man in his late 70's early 80's got out of his car and stood beside the car...he didn't approach the mural like I would see most people do.....he stood there for a moment and then saluted Brett's mural....upon seeing the man salute , I got very choked up...as he drove away in the back of his car window was a United States Marine sticker.....to this day I have never seen anything so amazing in my life.... The honor of Lima crosses all cultural lines. I am very proud of these two boys, and am proud to call them friend and brother. They are honorable as are all Lima Marines. The homecoming was bittersweet because not all Lima Marines came home. God bless you all...
